One of the ultimate goals of scientific research is getting published in a medical journal so that readers can learn about your exciting work and findings. After the ACE Study, the research team led by Dr. Michael Dulin and Dr. Hazel Tapp published articles about the study design. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3176175/

In addition to publishing articles in medical journals, researchers can share their findings with other interested learners in the form of posters or presentations at national and international conferences. Last summer, members of the ADAPT-NC team traveled to Bethesda, MD to sit on a panel of experts and share their experiences with the project. Their workshop presentation, “ADAPT‐NC: A Multi‐Institutional Approach to a Shared Decision Making Dissemination Study from Practice Facilitators’ Perspective,” was a huge hit! We owe a tremendous thank you to all the authors for their hard work throughout this project! Jennifer Rees, Kelly Reeves, Lori Hendrickson, Beth Patterson, Dianne Gewirtzman, Lindsay Shade, Paul Bray, Kathleen Mottus, Madeline Mitchell, and Tami Hege.
